Christmas this year was a blast! There was a buzz with the babies and Lilly May was at her best! Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas morning, and Christmas lunch at Grandmama's.

For some reason, D is always looking his best on Christmas morning. Cold or not, he's always got a hoodie on!

Lilly May got an Ariel bathing suit in her stocking, so she wore it all morning. She was really fun this year.

Mommy Update

Okay...so I haven't posted an update on mommy-to-be in a while. At my last appointment, which was the Monday before Thanksgiving, the doctor told me that Cassidy was big. We knew that from the previous ultrasound, though. She also said, "I hate to tell you this because I know your eyes are going to get big...BUT, you've gained 17 pounds in a month." All I could do was laugh. And, the funniest part is I am noticeably bigger now than I was then. (I'll let you know how much I weigh at my next appointment. Ha!)

We had an ultrasound Monday, 12/15. He really looks like a baby now! The ultrasound technician kept saying how big he is, which was no news to us, but she seemed concerned. Right now, at 29 weeks 2 days, he weighs 3 pounds 10 ounces. Obviously, that's above average. But, look at D and Reid, right?! I will try and get some ultrasound pictures up on here soon, so you can see.

All in all, mommy and daddy and baby are doing well. Here's mommy-to-be as of tonight--December 17th. Check out that tummy!! Hahaha! I'll get some more up soon for those of you who haven't seen me.

Courtney Ann Harbaugh

On November 14th, my friend Courtney fell off her balcony at her house in Charleston. She was rushed to the hospital, unconscious, with a faint heart beat. She stayed in the hospital until November 28th, when she passed away.

Courtney and I went to college together, where we became very close friends. She was one of those people who epitomized the word "friend." She always remembered the milestones, the birthdays, the doctor's appointments...she was here the weekend Andy and I got engaged...she was at our wedding...she was here to see the baby bump one week before her accident. I will always remember--as I think Stacy will--Courtney constantly smiling, always laughing, creating something out of trash, and always having a story to tell us.

She will be missed by so many. Heaven is lucky to have her.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at our mountain house in Mount Mitchell, NC this year. It was wonderful weather, even though we were prepared for snow! Lilly May entertained everyone, as usual. She has really grown into quite the riot!
