Well, we're still chuggin' along here! I know it's been forever since our last post. I went back to work at the beginning of May, so my days have been full.
Okay...a recap of the last 1 1/2 months...
At Cassidy's 2 month appointment, he got shots. He had no reaction to them and only cried for a few seconds. Yay! He weighed 12 lbs 14 oz. He was 24 inches long. His head circumference was 17 3/4 inches. Cass was in the upper 90% (95 and 96%) for his length and weight. He was off the charts (101%) for his head size. The doctor, who was not our normal pediatrician, told us that she was setting up an appointment with a neurosurgeon at MUSC because his head was so big. She gave no other explanation or anything. No appointment was made then, and we were NOT happy. We took Cass to another doctor for a 2nd opinion, and he made an appointment for an ultrasound the next morning just to make sure. The ultrasound showed nothing, and all is well. Our new doctor--the one who gave the 2nd opinion--said that we shouldn't be concerned unless he was small everywhere except his head...which he clearly is not.
Since that appointment, Cass has continued to grow. He's focusing and grabbing his toys. He's "talking" like crazy. He smiles all the time and has laughed at mommy twice. He is still a daddy's boy, though, looking for daddy during the day.
