Just words...

I know, I know...nothing for a long time! We've been super busy with fun stuff since I've been home from work. Lots of updates for you...

Cassidy got his 4 month shot at the end of June. He now weighs 16 1/2 lbs, is 26 1/2 in long, and his head circumference is still about 17 3/4 in. He is eating lots of food these days! He's had sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, squash, peas, applesauce, pears, peaches, and bananas in the baby food department. He's also had (and LOVES) watermelon and popsicles. He's rolling all over the place, reaching for his toys, and talking constantly. He loves to talk to his toys and has begun to "test his volume"--as Daddy and I call it. He's getting much better at sitting up with some assistance, I don't think it'll be long before he's doing it on his own. However, once he's sitting up on his own, he'll be crawling soon after--he's so busy!

Cassidy has been a frequent flier to the pool this summer. He loves to splash and kick his feet. I got him a float, too, which he has thoroughly enjoyed. We've also been to the beach a few times. He liked the trip to Edisto with Uncle Justin and Mrs. Katherine...there wasn't any wind or waves. He wasn't thrilled about Isle of Palms, though. It was very windy that week, and he was NOT going to nap with all that going on! We went to the lake over the 4th of July with Uncle Jarrett and Aunt Robin...Cass loved the lake and the boat! (We're thrilled about that!) He floated around in his car and looked around when we were riding. We are so happy that we have ourselves a "water baby!"

I will post pictures of all of these memories soon. He's been a real trooper since I've been home this summer. We have really enjoyed each other's company. Cass is our little sunshine.
