Cassidy and Cassidy

It has now been 2 years since the passing of Cassidy Fae Pendley in the Ocean Isle Fire. The loss of Cassidy has been hard for many people--friends and family. One way that Andy and I saw to remember her and keep her close to us forever was to name our son after her. So, Cassidy Reed Yingling is a constant reminder of Cassidy Fae Pendley. I know that she looks down on our Cassidy and smiles. Sometimes when I ask him if he dreamed about her, he laughs loud and hard--just like Cassidy used to do.
Thinking about you, Cassidy...we miss you every day.

WE ARE...

PENN STATE!

Not interested...

Daddy caught a lizard in the house the other morning. He held it for Cass to admire, but he was totally not interested! Maybe he's not quite ALL Andy...

Horses on our Walk

Last weekend, we all went on a walk to the front of the neighborhood to meet the horses. They came running right over to us, but we forgot the apples!

Y'all, Birdie and Biggie are going to DIE when they see this on here. Wonder how long it'll be before one of them calls...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Play Time

When Mommy gets home from work, Cassidy and I spend those precious minutes playing, laughing, and reading. This liitle boy is so happy and smart!

He loves to look at books and listen to people read them. He especially likes "Stinky Face" from Aunt Amy and Uncle Joe.

Steamed Squash

Cassidy had his first taste of big people food this week. He had steamed squash, watermelon, strawberries, and zucchini.

Ummm...I'd say he liked 'em!

Gamecock Football

So far, we've all been to 2 games together. Cass LOVES the football games. He loves all the people, the movement on the field, and the band. Last Saturday, we went to the SC State game and tailgated by Bluff Road (the main drag). He thoroughly enjoyed people-watching...wonder where he gets that from!

Uncle Reid got his first touchdown pass this weekend against SC State! We were so excited!
