New Trick

Cassidy has a new trick. He showed us at the Smoak's Christmas Party last night.

He gets such a kick out of himself when he does it. He sticks out his tongue, laughs, closes his eyes, and does it again. Cass is such a mess!

Making Ornaments

Mommy and Auntie Nisha have been looking forward to making ornaments with little Cassidy for weeks! We got our wish this afternoon. We made angels, Rudolphs, snowmen and Santas with Cassidy's hands and feet. He really didn't fight us on any of them. We were both surprised!

After making ornaments, Nisha and I ate Chinese and Cass ate everything else...ALL over Auntie Nisha's floor.

Carolina/Clemson 2009

Cass is 5 for 5 at Carolina games this year. Every one he went to, we won. Soooo, you know what that means next year, right?! Goooooo Cocks! Fight! Win! Kick Ass!

Excitement and Exploring

Mommy is so excited about Christmas this year! Cassidy is exploring everything. He can look at Santa when you ask him, "Where's Santa?" I put soft and unbreakable ornaments on the bottom half of the tree this year, so Cass could take them off. He takes them off and tries to put them back on. It's too cute! We may not have any needles on the tree by the time Christmas rolls around, but Mommy doesn't mind. He loves the colored lights, the sparkles, the ornaments, and the decorations. The spirit is in the air at our house!

Um...yeah...I don't really have anything to say about this.

Oh, Christmas Tree...Oh, Christmas Tree...

Griffin Hogg

The other day, Andy took Cassidy over to Jamie's house to play with Griffin. I'm not sure what Griffin thought about Cass, but Cass loved him! Of course, all Cass wanted to do was play with his jumper and pull his hair. Boys, boys....

Thanksgiving

This year, our little family spent Thanksgiving in Summerville. The Yinglings were in PA, the Panasitis were at Aunt Janies, the other Panasitis were in New Hampshire, Birdie, Biggie, and the Crosbys were at the Mountain House, D was at Ma and Pa's, the Mayberrys were in the mountains, the Jessens were at Uncle Bubba's, the Rowe's were in Hilton Head, and poor Reidy was in Columbia. SPREAD OUT! It's not the way we would choose to do the holiday...we'd love to have everyone close like the year we got married, but we really enjoyed ourselves. Andy, Cassidy, and I went to Grammy and Bubby's for dinner. Of course, Grammy NEVER disappoints, and the food was marvelous!! We ALL ate too much! Cassidy thoroughly enjoyed his heaping mound of sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, macaroni and cheese, corn casserole, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes.

Cabinets

Cassidy's new favorite toys are the kitchen cabinets and everything inside them. He pulls up to the cabinets and pulls everything out--pots, pans, tupperware, WHATEVER! Unfortunately, he LOVES the liquor cabinet the best, pulling out the bottles and rolling them on the floor.

Eating...and EATING!

I think it's safe to say that Cassidy does not miss any meals. He has tried just about everything we eat--squash, zucchini, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, peas, carrots, waffles, blueberry muffins, and saltines. He's gotten very good at picking the food up with this thumb and finger. Very RARELY does he drop it from the counter to his mouth.
