Momma's Boy

It's been a long time since an update on us. We've been super busy around here! Cassidy is growing like a weed--into 18 months clothes now! He eats like someones gonna steal it from him...enjoying foods like: waffles, french toast, grilled cheese sandwiches, yogurt, chips, pickles, rice, and anything Momma and Daddy are eating. Sometimes I think about sending him to stay with Uncle Reid for a while, with all that he eats.
Cassidy is very interested in everything outside. He points at the clouds and the wind, puts his finger to his lips for quiet when he sees birds, and loves to watch the leaves on the trees. Cass has taken some steps so far, walking from the foot stool to the couch, Mommy to Bubby, couch to Grammy, and things like that. He's still not so sure about himself, though.
He's been blabbing all week! Most of what he says is "buh, buh" or some variation of it. He'll ask for his bottle, name a ball, call Daddy or Mama or Bubby. He looks down when I ask him if he's got a dirty diaper. He's getting to be a very smart little boy!
One of his favorite things to do is take a bath. He'll get in the tub and splash, play, and talk. He's starting "swimming," laying down on his belly and kicking his feet. It's the funniest thing! I think he's ready for the summer! Look out, beach and pool--here we come!!!

...my precious boy...

Playful Boy

The Red Wagon

The red wagon from Grammy and Bubby is, by far, the BEST toy ever! Cassidy LOVES riding in it! He sits there like a king, throwing puffs and melts out the side like he's in a parade. When we hit the road, he "sings" with the vibration from the wheels.

Notice the cup, snacks, and Santa. Haha!!

New Trick

Cassidy has a new trick. He showed us at the Smoak's Christmas Party last night.

He gets such a kick out of himself when he does it. He sticks out his tongue, laughs, closes his eyes, and does it again. Cass is such a mess!

Making Ornaments

Mommy and Auntie Nisha have been looking forward to making ornaments with little Cassidy for weeks! We got our wish this afternoon. We made angels, Rudolphs, snowmen and Santas with Cassidy's hands and feet. He really didn't fight us on any of them. We were both surprised!

After making ornaments, Nisha and I ate Chinese and Cass ate everything else...ALL over Auntie Nisha's floor.
